Bay Area residents protesting Donald Trump’s election as America’s next president came up with some unique ways to express their dissent over the holiday weekend.
A “Wall of Empathy” at a BART station in San Francisco was created to inspire action (and yes, empathy).
In Oakland, the East Bay Express estimates at least 5,000 people converged for a peaceful demonstration in which a crowd encircled Lake Merritt, hand in hand.
