Little Monty has found a forever home, but many pets-to-be are still waiting. Find your next pet at sfspca.org/adopt (Brittany Hosea-Small/KQED)
It has been a long campaign season. We all feel it.
We wanted to provide you — and let’s be honest, ourselves — some relief from #Election2016 fatigue so we decided to pay a visit to our local SPCA to shine a spotlight on some of our four-legged friends up for adoption. With such great “talent,” we were able to turn the photos into postcards for you to share around (we’re posting many to our social accounts, like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) or simply to express your feelings about the election.
Choose your forever friends postcard and share with your loved ones, friends and co-workers. Most importantly, consider giving a furry friend a furever home. SFSPCA has many wonderful pets-to-be up for adoption (and interestingly, within a day of our photo shoot a lot of these gals and fellas had found families), as do many other shelters.
And as for the election … hold on everyone, it’s almost over!
