Facebook executive Sheryl Sandberg posted to Facebook that she, her family and colleagues were booked on the Asiana flight that crashed and burned at San Francisco International Airport Saturday, but had switched to United in order to get frequent-flyer miles.

Most of the 303 passengers on the Asiana flight from South Korea were able to escape, but there are reports that  dozens were injured. The crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m.

Samsung executive David Eun, mentioned by Sandberg in her post, who was on the Asiana Airlines flight, tweeted about the crash.

"I just crash landed at SFO. Tail ripped off. Most everyone seems fine. I'm ok. Surreal” Eun wrote on his Twitter page around 1 p.m.

He later tweeted, "Fire and rescue people all over the place.  They're evacuating the injured. Haven't felt this way since 9/11. Trying to help people stay calm. Deep breaths"
