San Francisco’s Red Poppy Art House is a tiny but vibrant space at the heart of the Mission District’s music and art scene. We talk to Red Poppy collaborators Meklit Hadero and Todd Brown, who are spending the month of June as artists in residence at the de Young Museum. The pair will preview their upcoming museum exhibition and perform music from their transcontinental ensemble, Nefasha Ayer. Hadero and Brown’s de Young residency runs from June 3 through June 27.

Guests:

Meklit Hadero, singer, musician, resident artist at The Red Poppy Art House and TED global fellow

Todd Brown, founder, director and resident artist at The Red Poppy Art House
