San Francisco-based hip-hop artist Michael Franti has attracted international attention for his band Spearhead’s eclectic mix of funk, rock and reggae. Franti, who is also a well known social justice activist, headlines this weekend’s Power to the Peaceful music festival in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. We welcome Franti to our studios for a conversation on his music and activism.
