Monday marks the first anniversary of the shootings at the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin which left six priests and worshippers dead. Attorney General Eric Holder announced on Friday that the Justice Department will begin keeping numbers on hate crimes committed against Sikhs and six other groups. We’ll talk with a local Sikh community leader, Mandeep Dhillon, about the incident and about Bay Area public education efforts aimed at combating discrimination.
