The National Transportation Safety Board just wrapped up three days of hearings on the fatal PG&E pipeline explosion in San Bruno. Testimony ranged from the state of gas pipeline technology to whether or not the September 9 blast was an “anomaly.” In the coming days, the safety board will prepare an accident report and ultimately determine a probable cause. We recap what was said at the hearings and ask what it will mean for PG&E going forward.
