A billboard featuring former San Francisco 49ers quaterback Colin Kaepernick is displayed on the roof of the Nike Store on September 5, 2018 in San Francisco, California.

The NFL season kicks off Thursday night, but the league has been top of mind since Monday. That’s when Colin Kaepernick posted an image of himself as the face of Nike’s “Just Do It” 30th anniversary campaign. The choice of Kaepernick, who remains unsigned by an NFL team after protesting police brutality by kneeling during the National Anthem, has set off a boycott of the company and a lively debate on social networks. What do you think of Kaepernick as the face of Nike’s campaign? Has the NFL’s treatment of Kaeperniick changed your opinion of the league?
