On June 5, San Francisco voters will decide whether to approve Proposition F, which would use public funds to provide a lawyer to any tenant facing eviction. Proponents say the measure will protect thousands of tenants from being unfairly pushed out of their homes. Opponents say Proposition F would force taxpayers to pay legal bills for tenants who violate their leases or who can afford a lawyer on their own. We’ll hear from both sides of the debate.
