In 1957, Melba Patillo Beals integrated Central High School as one of the Little Rock Nine. In her new book, “March Forward, Girl,” Beals chronicles her life leading up to her ground breaking turn as a high school activist. Beale joins Forum to discuss her work in the name of civil rights and racial justice, progress made, and what still needs to be done.
