Artist Marc Bamuthi Joseph has always been a soccer fan, from his days kicking the ball around as the child of Haitian immigrants to attending World Cup games in South Africa and Brazil. His new multimedia performance, /peh-LO-tah/, explores the complexity and cultural impact of the world’s most popular sport.
