The California Highway Patrol arrested five suspects Thursday in connection with a recent spate of highway shootings. There have been 28 shootings on five East Bay freeways since November, killing four people and injuring 12. Mayors from Hercules, El Cerrito, San Pablo, Richmond and Pinole wrote to Governor Brown Thursday, asking for money to install and upgrade cameras to record traffic and photograph license plates. Forum will discuss what local mayors and law enforcement are doing to address the problem.

Guests:

Jennifer Lynch, senior staff attorney with the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
