Jury selection has begun in the murder trial of BART policeman Johannes Mehserle. A year and a half ago, Mehserle shot and killed 22 year old Oscar Grant while Grant lay face down on the ground. The shooting prompted community outrage in Oakland and the trial has been moved to Los Angeles. We talk with a lawyer, a reporter and Oscar Grant’s uncle about the impending trial.
