We take up Thursday’s announcement that United Airlines and Continental are close to a merger. Though the deal is still not final, a merger could be announced as soon as Monday. What are the potential implications for the industry, and for fares out of SFO where United is the dominant carrier?

Guests:

Robert Mann, airline consultant with R.W. Mann & Co.
