Experience a day of marine science and family fun at The Seymour Marine Discovery Center in Santa Cruz!
The Marine Science Fest celebrates the restoration of the Seymour Center’s 87-foot-long blue whale skeleton, known as Ms. Blue, and kids will get to make their own molds of whale bones. Scientists invite families to learn from interactive exhibits, and a PBS filmmaker will share how they capture sea life under water. Explore the aquarium and touch hermit crabs and other creatures who live in the Monterey Bay. Families can participate in a community mural, jam out to music, watch a puppet show, and so much more. All overlooking the beautiful Santa Cruz ocean!
