Happy Dragon’s CLOTHING SWAP:
Start the school year with a fresh wardrobe for the kids. Bring gently used clothing they’ve outgrown from last year and swap it for new-to-you pieces that fit their current size. It’s a simple way to pass along clothes that still have plenty of life in them, keep clothing out of the waste stream, and find something your child will love wearing this year.
How It Works:
- Bring up to 3 children’s clothing items.
- Check them in with Happy Dragon.
- Get 1 ticket per accepted item.
- Use your tickets to choose new-to-you clothing.
About Happy Dragon
Happy Dragon Thrift Shop began in 1958 when a mother and daughter held yard sales to raise money for the Ming Quong orphanage in Los Gatos. They collected Green Stamps and eventually raised enough to put a down payment on the building that is home to Happy Dragon today.
More than 65 years later, that spirit of community giving continues. Run entirely by volunteers and supported by donations, Happy Dragon raises more than $500,000 each year for Pacific Clinics, supporting children’s mental health and family services in Santa Clara County. Their work brings together reuse, volunteerism, and a commitment to helping local families.
Family PROGRAMMING:
Enjoy a series of music and movement sessions throughout the day— each featuring songs, dance, and interactive fun for families.
Sessions are first to arrive, first to enter. Limited to capacity.
