Description

The Librarians is a timely and compelling new documentary from director/producer Kim A. Snyder that follows a growing movement of librarians uniting to combat book banning and defend intellectual freedom across the United States.

Set against the backdrop of escalating censorship efforts in Texas, Florida, and beyond, the film illuminates the essential role of libraries—and the individuals who sustain them—on the frontlines of democracy.

Through intimate storytelling and powerful firsthand accounts, The Librarians underscores the enduring importance of access to knowledge, diverse perspectives, and the right to read freely.
