Piñata-Making and Sweet Treats with Mission Lotería

Join us for an evening of piñata-making and lotería (often known as Mexican bingo) with the Mission District’s very own, Mission Lotería.

Start the night with a performance by Baruch Porras-Hernandez, for a ravishing excerpt from his play called Love in the Time of Pinatas, then learn to craft your own vibrant piñata for the holidays as we jump into its history and symbolism while shaping something beautiful with your hands.

Then settle in for a lively round (or two!) of Lotería led by Mission Lotería, the iconic game of chance, community, and laughter.
