California Gubernatorial Debate 2022

Description

KQED hosts California's candidates for governor, Democratic incumbent Gavin Newsom and his Republican challenger Brian Dahle, for their only debate before voters decide who will lead the state of nearly 40 million people on election day. 

KQED senior politics editor Scott Shafer and KQED politics correspondent Marisa Lagos, who are also co-hosts of Political Breakdown, moderate. 

The debate will be broadcast live via KQED Public Radio 88.5 with video to be streamed live from KQED’s website and social channels at 1pm PT. The debate will be rebroadcast over-air on KQED Public Television 9 at 6pm PT.
