The CAST Pathway Class of 2012 of Balboa High School took a field trip to the Henry Cowell Redwood State Park in California. After spending a few hours in nature, each student and teacher wrote an individual poem.
At the end of the trip, each student and teacher shared one line from their poem with the rest of the class. Everyone's line from their poem then became a line of one larger group poem, which beautifully gathered each individual's unique reflection into one larger collective piece.
This film was shown at the KQED Science Youth Media Festival in 2012.
