This personal project explores my current obsession with moving clouds, the changing sky and capturing these fleeting moments through time-lapse imagery. Over a period of two months, I eagerly awaited and filmed all of this imagery from my front yard in Southern California at varying times of the day and night. I was interested in expressing the beauty and light in nature that is evident in any given day, right outside. In editing, I chose music that conveyed a feeling of longing and aloneness, enhancing the viewer’s experience of awe and solitude. This film was shown at BAYMN FEST 2013.
