PBS LearningMedia, the digital media library for teachers and learners, provides trusted content from PBS and partners like KQED to bring quality media into learning. This short tutorial offers suggestions on how to maximize PBS LearningMedia using folders. Folders can help to organize and share saved media easily in PBS LearningMedia. Here are a few ways to use folders.

Use folders to organize media by subject or topic. You can use media that you have “favorited” in PBS LearningMedia. You can also add content or media from external links. Folders can be used to flip classroom assignments or to differentiate instruction.

Folders can be used to collaborate and share resources with cohorts of teachers, or to provide additional resources for students. Add notes or instructions to folders. Each folder has an open URL that can be emailed or share on a teacher website.

Those are a few ways folders in PBS LearningMedia can enhance and personalize learning. How is PBS LearningMedia supporting your learning goals? Find more ideas for using media to enhance learning at kqed.org/pbslm. Share how you are using PBS LearningMedia @kqededspace.
