With a fresh Emmy win, Check, Please! Bay Area is back with a new round of episodes for its 21st season! This fall, indulge in all of the insider dining tips that our guests shared around the table with host Leslie Sbrocco. Our culinary delights begin with cozy Chinese comfort food in Berkeley, live-fire cooked American fare in Redwood City and house-made sausages paired with a selection of beers in San Francisco.
The James Beard and Emmy-Award winning series will also feature Pakistani-style barbecue, modern Turkish fare served alongside fresh mezes and many more Bay Area bites that you won’t want to miss. To add to the fun, reporter Cecilia Phillips explores olive oil production at Il Fiorello and samples the unusual produce picks offered at the Vallejo Farmers Market.
