After the assassination of George Moscone and Harvey Milk, Moscone’s story slipped beneath the headlines while Milk’s dominated. Jonathan Moscone, George’s son, tells his personal story and in a compelling way: through theater. Berkeley Repertory Theatre’s production “Ghost Light” is a re-imagination of history, memory, fathers and sons. Combining the arc of the play’s creation with reflections about George and the times in which he lived, this half-hour documentary offers perspective on history and the role of art in bringing insight to both. A co-production of KQED and Dave Iverson.
