About “Girl Reporter”
When I was a kid, scouring the 7-11 racks for super-hero comics, the girl superheroes were always hard to find. I wound up having to identify with the damsel in distress character, the girl who always gets saved. The problem was, deep down, I wanted to be the super-hero, the person doing the saving. And this story emerged out of that contradiction.
