Kacey Johansing has been involved in a bunch of local projects over the past few years; she was in Geographer for a period of time, she’s played with The Blank Tapes, and, lately, she’s been a member of Honeycomb. Many Seasons contains elements of folk and rock akin to those bands, but it’s principally an acoustic pop album, with the multi-instrumentalist’s great voice supported by gorgeous layers of piano, guitar and strings.
We sat down with Johansing a few weeks ago to discuss her new album and her participation in various local projects. We’ve also included four songs from Many Seasons in the show.
