The Central Valley town of Laton was struggling even before the current economic crisis. But an eight-month partnership with a Los Angeles art school is invigorating the community. Students from Otis College of Art and Design have been coming to Laton to take photos, shoot video, and work with locals to create original works of art. Now, the townspeople and students are getting ready to show off their work by transforming downtown into a multimedia art exhibit.
