Noise Pop Gears Up for Its 2027 Return With Deerhoof and More

Noise Pop just announced phase one of the lineup for its 2027 festival, which takes over San Francisco venues Feb. 18–28 with a packed schedule of shows. Politically outspoken indie rock band Deerhoof, which formed in San Francisco in 1994, will take the stage at Great American Music Hall on Feb. 24. The group released a new, sci-fi-themed album, Divine Schism, earlier this month, full of textured guitars and synths that feel both gritty and whimsical.
On Feb. 27, Nashville country, blues and gospel band Lambchop will perform at the majestic Grace Cathedral, where Noise Pop has previously hosted shows by St. Vincent and other musical greats. Lambchop will be joined by the Bay Area’s experimental vocal ensemble, Free Key Choir.
At SFJAZZ on Feb. 20 and 21, saxophonist Ayo Brame, a 19-year-old rising star from Oakland, will perform two solo shows. Earlier this year, Brame was featured on Jill Scott’s long-awaited comeback album, To Whom This May Concern.
Other lineup highlights include Jess Williamson, Modeselektor, Devvy Dub, Big Sis, Two Lanes, Powerplant, Lady Radiator, Cut Worms, Radio Free Alice, Here We Go Magic, Labrats, the Stone Foxes, Gibby Haynes, Caroline Rose, Sun Gazer, Sparklmami and Girl Ultra. More acts will be announced in the coming months.
