Comedian Ron Funches comes to San Jose Improv (Photo: Courtesy of the Artist)

When Ron Funches tells a joke, it’s full of long pauses and unexpected turns that prove much funnier than anything you expect. He jokes about everyday life with topics like his favorite job and smoking pot, but he can also talk about his son’s autism and still be funny. And no matter what the subject, Funches will tag the joke with his infectious giggle. My co-host Jamedra Brown Fleischman notes Funches was one of her favorite recurring guests on the now cancelled late-night game show @midnight. Details for Ron Funches’s shows at the San Jose Improv from Feb 22-24 are here.
