Netflix’s rendezvous with comedian Ali Wong will soon be extended into a full-fledged partnership.

Deadline reports that Netflix has picked up a rom-com starring Wong and Randall Park (Fresh off the Boat). The untitled feature comedy, which the duo wrote with playwright and screenwriter Michael Golamco (Grimm), has yet to find a director.

The film will find Wong — who previously worked as a staff writer and consultant on Boat — and Park playing “two childhood friends who find themselves in vastly different socioeconomic situations when they fall in love as adults,” according to the report.

For those keeping score at home, she proposed the possibility of an Asian-American version of When Harry Met Sally — starring the two longtime friends —in an interview with the New Yorker last year.

This will be Wong’s first (starring role in a) feature film, and her second collaboration with Netflix, following her 2016 standup special Baby Cobra. Wong will be returning to her hometown on Aug. 19 to perform at the Masonic.
