Thirty-six lives were lost in the Oakland Warehouse Fire on the night of Dec. 2, 2016. They were artists, musicians, sound engineers, DJs, events organizers, and more. They came from the Bay and from around the world. This is KQED Arts’ tribute to their lives and to the inextinguishable spirit and power of their creativity.

For more of our tributes to the victims of the Oakland warehouse fire, please visit our remembrances page here. Download a hi-res version of the illustration here.
