Abbi Jacobson.

I’ll spare you the inevitable YASSS KWEEN, but it’s implied, right?

Needless to say, you’ll want to jump on this one: Abbi Jacobson (Broad City) appears in conversation with Carrie Brownstein (Sleater-Kinney, Portlandia) at the Nourse Theater on Oct. 29, and tickets just went on sale. Get them while they last at this link right here.

Tickets are $39 each, and include a copy of Jacobson’s upcoming collection of illustrations and musings, Carry This Book, a “whimsical examination of the things real and fictional people carry (or might carry) in their bags.”

The power duo of new TV comedy appears as part of City Arts & Lectures’ ‘On Arts’ series, which also includes just-announced appearances with Patti Smith, Roxane Gay, Frances McDormand, Joel Coen, Ira Glass, Zadie Smith, Ann Patchett, Darlene Love and more. See a full list here.
