Litquake, the Bay Area's premiere literary event, is back with force bringing you nearly two weeks of literary mayhem.

We've got five pairs of tickets to give away to Litquake's Wednesday, Oct 14th Barbary Coast Awards at Z Space in San Francisco.

Go Tell It on the Mountain: Litquake’s Barbary Coast Award Tribute to the Community of Writers at Squaw Valley. Amy Tan, Robert Haas and Nayomi Munaweera are among the writers who will take the stage to celebrate this series of workshops in the Sierra Mountains that has been so important to the careers of so many American novelists, including Maya Angelou, Ethan Canin, Anne Rice, and Richard Ford among others.

To be in with a chance of winning them, just send an email to giveaway@kqed.org with the subject "Barbary Coast" that contains your full name.

From all entries we'll randomly select five winners for a pair of tickets (worth $30 per pair.) Deadline to enter is Tuesday, October 13 at 7pm. Winners will be notified by e-mail on Tuesday night and tickets will be held at Will Call. You must be a California resident and 18 years or older to participate. Employees of KQED are not eligible to enter.
