One of downtown San Jose’s most popular traditions is back in full force with an extended stay till Saturday, January 27. Start the holiday season off right by winning a pair of tickets to Downtown Ice’s opening ceremony, skate tickets (these can be used anytime during the season) and a meet and greet with Kristi Yamaguchi!
The opening ceremony will take place on Tuesday, November 20 starting at 6pm. There will be a VIP reception beforehand at 5:30-6pm, and the meet and greet with Kristi Yamaguchi will take place after the ceremony.

From all entries, we’ll randomly select one winner for a pair of tickets to the event and meet and greet on Tuesday, November 20 as well as a pair of skating tickets (total prize value is $75).
The deadline to enter is Monday, November 12 at 11:59 pm. Winners will be notified by e-mail by the event organizer on Tuesday, November 13 with event details and more instructions on where to pick up the skate tickets and the meeting logistics for Kristi Yamaguchi. You must be a California resident and 18 years or older to participate. Employees of KQED are not eligible to enter.
