Minimum Wage Raised to $15
In a historic move, the California Legislature raised the minimum wage to $15 an hour — the first statewide hike in the country. UC Berkeley Labor Center Chair Ken Jacobs gives us his reaction.

Jail Deaths Investigation
Michael Tyree and Walter Roches died within a month of each other inside the Santa Clara County jail. Both suffered from serious mental illness and neither received the treatment they needed.
