Muslim Families Rally at State Capitol for Bullying Protections
Hundreds of California-based Muslim families lobbied lawmakers at the capitol Monday for more protections at the state level. One of the bills they are pushing for would require all schools to have bullying prevention guidelines.

An estimated 134,000 Californians were homeless last year, a 14% jump from 2016. The state doesn’t keep track of how many of those people have jobs, but we know there are many Californians that work and still can’t afford a stable living situation. They piece together housing, always on the edge of homelessness.
