Spark Education Workshops

Below are listings for training and professional development for K-12 and post-secondary educators to use Spark to teach about the arts.

  • Ongoing: K-12 Professional Development
    Learn how to use KQED's weekly Spark program about Bay Area arts and artists in your classroom. Through presentation of Spark, brainstorming, discussion, and hands-on arts activities, participants learn to how to develop dynamic and engaging arts curricula for K-12 students using Spark and other media resources. In some cases, Spark artists are also available to co-offer workshops. Call to schedule a free or low-cost workshop in San Francisco, South San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, Contra Costa, and Marin Counties.
