Arriving late and without Miss Botti, Sir Topham Hatt is cross with Thomas. Thomas searches for Miss Botti and finds out that she is having a marvelous time singing to anyone who will listen and more than ready for the concert. While Percy is at the Sodor Steam Works being repaired, Thomas is excited to be given the job of doing the mail run for him. Gordon advises Thomas to ask Percy for advice but Thomas thinks he knows all about how to deliver the mail. He sets off very early in the morning, tooting his whistle loudly wherever he goes. In the process, Thomas wakes up Mavis, Cranky, Victor and Kevin. Later, the sleepy engines make mistakes and Thomas realizes his error. The next morning, having learned a few lessons from Percy, Thomas does the mail run again, this time very quietly.

Marvelous Moments! (#604H) Duration: 28:46 STEREO TVY (Secondary audio: DVI)

Thomas is asked by Farmer Trotter to collect some straw for the piglets, which are soon to be born. But on the way, Thomas sees other things he thinks the piglets will like. He soon discovers all the piglets really need is straw and rushes off to correct his mistake in time for the piglets' arrival. Thomas has to transport something called The Lion of Sodor. It's actually a statue, but Thomas thinks it's a real lion, and is too excited to listen to other engines who try to correct him. Thomas gets his friends to help by giving the "lion" fish and straw. So, all because Thomas was in too much of a hurry to listen to advice, the statue is in a real mess. When Thomas realizes his error, he manages to get the statue cleaned and delivered to the Town Square in time for its unveiling.
