The seemingly fairy tale life of one of the most popular actresses of the 1950s is explored. Born in Philadelphia high-society, Kelly headed to New York to be a model and an actress soon after high school graduation. After a brief foray on Broadway and in TV, she set her sights on a film career. She attracted attention in "High Noon," and rocketed to stardom after appearing in "Rear Window" with James Stewart. Just two years later, she turned her back on it all to marry Prince Rainier II of Monaco. Narrated by Richard Kiley.
