Based on the simple premise that powerful songs can bring an audience to their feet, gladden their hearts and give them something to really feel good about, this program gathers together some of the most uplifting songs from the world of musical theatre. It harnesses the emotional power of these songs that have so inspired millions of theatre goers and gathered them all together in one delightful feast of entertainment.
Accompanied by the Prague Filmharmonic Orchestra and Choir, the show presents a feast of inspired vocal performances recorded in the Baroque Basilica of St Simon and St Jude in the old city of Prague. The vocal power and range of the 3 featured soloists - tenors Anthony Kearns and Rodrick Dixon and soprano Alfreda Burke - is matched by the dramatic and emotional delivery of special guest Linda Eder.
