Music Voyager host Jacob Edgar continues his Road to a Grammy journey by meeting up with Grammy winner India. Arie in Washington DC. Dobet Gnahore, a stunning singer from west Africa, who shares a Grammy nomination with India. Arie for their duet on the song "Pearls," joins India. Arie and Israeli superstar Idan Raichel for a very special global musical jam session. Then, Jacob travels to Lafayette, Louisiana, the heart of Cajun country, to meet up with Cedric Watson, a young accordionist and violin player who has been making big waves in the Creole music world. The good times roll on the bayou, with a crawfish cookout, intimate porch-side concerts and a raucous Zydeco dance party at the famed Blue Moon night club.

In this episode, host Jacob Edgar gets a taste of Tokyo's cultural umami - a voyage of discovery filled with unforgettable surprises. From the outlandish fashion of J-Pop, the surprising pastime of a Japanese jazz giant, Tokyo's rock guitar superstar and a humorous hip-hop freestyler, Jacob meets the colorful characters of Tokyo. His journey is powered by ample bowls of ramen noodles, first-class shots of sake, and the occasional octopus ball.

Host Jacob Edgar ends his journey to learn more about this year's Grammy nominees in Los Angeles, where the annual awards ceremony takes place. This final episode of Music Voyager's Road to a Grammy takes place during the awards weekend, when the city lights up with celebrity parties, concerts and special events, and Jacob dives headlong into the madness. After a visit to the Grammy Museum, Jacob meets up with renowned producer and songwriter Tricky Stewart, who has worked with superstars such as Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Rhianna, Katy Perry and many others. Tricky describes the life and philosophy of being a producer to the stars and invites Jacob to his exclusive Grammy party, where celebrities and up and coming talents arrive in fancy cars and walk the red carpet to the flash bulbs of the paparazzi. Jacob steps outside the chaos to explore Los Angeles, introducing viewers to his favorite local record store, Latin nightclub, local radio station and other music highlights. The musical journey culminates in front of the Staples Center, where the fashionable crowds line up for the start the awards ceremony.

      We are aware of the break-up issues for our DT25 Over the Air signal in the Monterey/Salinas area. This will also affect viewers of any cable or satellite signal provider using that transmitter as their source. Engineers are working on the problem.
