Filmed in HD by KQED at the War Memorial Opera House
Great
Performances: Dance in America: San Francisco Ballet's Nutcracker
San Francisco Ballet was the first ballet company in America to present
Tchaikovsky's ballet "Nutcracker." It's been a holiday tradition ever since.
This Christmas season, KQED's co-production with San Francisco Ballet, filmed
in HD, features a dazzling new interpretation of the holiday favorite inspired
by the San Francisco's 1915 Pan-Pacific Exposition and hosted by Olympic gold
medalist and Bay Area native, Kristi Yamaguchi.
