Whether they're in the ground, in rocks or in a tree, holes are perfect homes, safe and warm for foxes, snakes, rabbits, prairie dogs, porcupines, and flying squirrels. Jackie spots a man just about to cut down a dead tree. She stops him and explains that owls, squirrels and raccoons live in tree holes, even if the tree is dead.     Thomas & Friends [#606H] Giving and Sharing When Victor has to be away from the Sodor Steam Works, Thomas is asked to take over for the day. Victor tries to tell Thomas how to run the Sodor Steam Works, but Thomas doesn't listen. He just wants to get started with his very special job. First Spencer, then Henry, and lastly James come into the Sodor Steam Works to be fixed. But Thomas doesn't listen to what is wrong with them. He sends Spencer to the hoist, claims Henry needs special coal, and orders the spare funnel for James. His unwitting accomplice in all this is Kevin who is loyal and obedient, but very confused. Kevin's confusion sparks total Sodor Steam Works chaos with Spencer swinging from the hoist hook, Kevin rolling into James and James covering Victor in twigs and soot! Thomas realizes he hasn't listened. He corrects everything, and leaves Victor to run the Sodor Steam Works and Kevin to recover! It's a great day for Sodor because Hiro is returning to the Island! Thomas and Percy are very excited. Sir Topham Hatt tells Thomas and Percy that he is organizing a welcoming party for Hiro at Knapford and Thomas is to tell all the other engines to gather for it. But, Thomas decides that getting a welcome present for Hiro would make him even happier. Thomas looks for a gift at Farmer McColl's, at the Quarry and at the Sodor Steam Works and fails to tell the engines about the party. When Thomas gets to Knapford present-less, he sees Hiro alone and realizes Hiro is also guest-less! Thomas is devastated!He rushes back to the places he visited to tell all the engines about Hiro's party. Abby suggests granting Baby Bear a wish so that he isn't afraid of bees. Abby points her wand at Baby Bear, but Chris, who is standing close by, also gets hits with her magic. Baby Bear and Chris both turn into bees! Oops! Abby doesn't know how to fix the spell. As Abby calls her mommy to find a solution, the bees put Chris and Baby Bear to work! But they don't understand what they need to do- how do bees help flowers? After talking to a bee, Baby Bear learns that bees are important because they collect pollen and nectar, and help living things grow. Later, Chris and Baby Bear find themselves in a beehive. They learn that bees make wax and honey and that honeycombs are shaped like a hexagon. By the time Baby Bear and Chris return to Sesame Street, Abby has learned how to undo the spell. She waves her magic wand, and Chris and Baby Bear turn back into themselves! In the end, Abby's spell really did work! Baby Bear is no longer afraid of bees.     Thomas & Friends [#801H] Exciting Friends Gordon and Ferdinand - Sir Topham Hatt welcomes Ferdinand to his railroad by letting him share Gordon's special. They will be taking the Lion of Sodor to the Summer House and Ferdinand will be Gordon's back engine, which Gordon isn't happy about. They pass workmen who cheer for Ferdinand (not for Gordon or the Lion of Sodor!). Gordon comes up with a plan to take the quiet tracks across the Fenland but he goes too fast and the Lion of Sodor falls into the river. Gordon realizes he was wrong to think he was grander than Ferdinand. Ferdinand helps Gordon to get the Lion of Sodor back and they take it to the Steam Works to get it gleaming again. Toby and Bash - Sir Topham Hatt gives Bash a reward for being a Really Useful Engine. His reward is to spend the day with Toby to pick up the children at Knapford Station. Then they heave and haul slate to Brendham Docks. They are tired and Bash needs a rest so Toby brings him to Arlesdale End. Bash thinks Arlesdale is beautiful and Toby lets him sleep there. Toby thinks that Bash would like a home of his own on Sodor and they set out to find the perfect home. They visit the Fenlands but Bash is scared of the ducks and go to Farmer McColl's field but the cows scare Bash. Toby realizes that Bash just wants his home to remain on Misty Island. Scratch spends the day watching the other machines but still isn't satisfied - he wants to do something! He decides to practice digging by himself... While digging Scratch's bucket hits something! He's found treasure! Concentrating hard, Scratch remembers everything he's learned from watching the other machines and manages to dig up the great treasure! Scratch is really pleased and admits that Bob was right - he did learn a lot from watching!
    * Lofty and the Monster - Bob and the team are rebuilding an old shack on the beach and transforming it into a surf school with Brad Rad, the awesome new surf instructor. Meanwhile, Scoop, Dizzy and Scrambler are playing a game of monster chase. However, Lofty doesn't realize that it's only a game. He thinks there's a real monster coming to get them! As the build progresses, Scoop, Dizzy and Scrambler take turns to be the monster. But every time they whiz past,screaming with excitement, Lofty closes his eyes tight. Bob and Wendy reassure him that there's no such thing as monsters. Lofty is relieved to find out it is only a game. However, when Brad Rad emerges from the water in his diver's mask and snorkel, Scoop, Dizzy and Scrambler think he's a real monster! But this time Lofty who keeps his cool - there's no such things as monsters - remember!

The kids want to learn too, so off they go to Gooney Goon Lagoon! There they learn all about flamingos - fun moves and all! Back at home Cat, Nick and Sally all move together - the flamingo way!

But in the meantime Zach has stolen their Miniaturizer and now imprisons them in a glass terrarium.
