Road to Perfect Health with Brenda Watson We all know the saying, "All roads lead to Rome." Well, according to digestive care expert, Brenda Watson, they all lead to the digestive system - at least where our health is concerned. In this program, Brenda shows us how all health ailments can be linked to an imbalance in the digestive system.
With over 20 years experience helping people overcome health challenges, Ms. Watson has been able to help people return to health - whether they suffer from typical digestive problems or chronic fatigue - by balancing the good and bad bacteria in their gut. Brenda shows us that a well-balanced intestinal tract makes up a large part of our immune system, or our body's "Gut Protection System" (GPS).
Unfortunately our GPS sometimes malfunctions and becomes out of balance, leading our health in the wrong direction. When this happens it leads to sickness and health problems. Ms. Watson shows us that no matter what our sickness or condition, putting our GPS in balance will put us back on the road to better health. Even if you don't have a heath problem, you need to keep your GPS in balance. How do you do this? Brenda gives a clear and concise plan to maintain a healthy, well-balanced GPS.

Great Performances [#3806(] Broadway Musicals: A Jewish Legacy Why has the Broadway musical proven to be such fertile territory for Jewish artists of all kinds? From Broadway's golden age, names like Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, the Gershwin's, Arthur Laurents, Jerome Robbins, Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim immediately come to mind. More recently, Broadway babies such as Stephen Schwartz, Marc Shaiman and Andrew Lippa represent a sampling of the Jewish talents who continue to leave their mark on musical theater. Filmmaker Michael Kantor focuses on this central question left largely unaddressed in his Emmy-winning Broadway: The American Musical, combining interviews with performance footage, including many of the rousing anthems and timeless ballads America has loved for a century. duration 1:59:47   SRND51 TVPG

Healing A.D.D. with Dr. Daniel Amen ADD or ADHD is a national health crisis that continues to grow-yet it remains one of the most misunderstood and incorrectly treated illnesses today. Kids and adults are put on powerful stimulant medications in short office visits without any biological information, and the stories of these medications hurting children and adults are common and persistent.
In this national public television program, psychiatrist Daniel Amen and his wife nurse Tana Amen take a completely new look at ADD and explain 7 unique types based on the extensive brain imaging work of the Amen Clinics on tens of thousands of ADD patients. Treating all people with ADD the same invites failure and frustration and can be a disaster, as the traditional treatments that make two of the types better can make the other 5 types worse.
The show is divided into three parts. In Part One, the myths and misconceptions about ADD will be discussed as well as the hallmark ADD symptoms. In Part Two, the 7 different types of ADD will be described in detail. And, in Part Three Dr. and Mrs. Amen we'll give you a clear method for Healing ADD, including the best natural treatments. They are not opposed to medication, but think it's smart to start with lifestyle and natural treatments first.
