Shirley makes an appointment with Martin to discuss the crippling stomach pains she has been suffering. When her son is out of the room, Shirley tells the doc she thinks her son is trying to poison her. The results of the tests on Shirley Dunwich show a heavy concentration of arsenic in her system.     DCI Banks [#104H] Cold Is The Grave Banks is asked by Superintendent Gerry Rydell to track down his missing daughter, Emily, and Annie gets lumbered with an armed carjacking and the murder of a small time crook, Charlie McKai. Travelling from Eastvale to South London, Banks comes across one of Emily's friends and her ex-flatmate, Ruth, who informs him that since their bust-up, Emily has been living with a well known criminal and drug baron, Barry Clough. Paying a visit to Clough, Banks realises that Emily could be in danger, and after encouragement from Emily's mother, decides to try and persuade her to return to Eastvale with him. Meanwhile, Annie delegates that McKai's murder and the carjacking are related to a much bigger operation - but without a testimony from the owner of the carjacked van, struggles to find a lead to pursue. Banks returns to Eastvale with Emily, however, no sooner have they returned than Emily disappears again - and hours later, he receives a phone call relating to a dead body in a nightclub toilet, believing it to be Emily's friend Ruth - however, when he arrives, discovers that is in fact Emily who is the victim. The investigation takes a number of alarming twists before uncovering a conspiracy, pointing to one of the team being an informant relating to Clough. Toby is a little intimidated when he sees how big and powerful Belle is. Belle decides that she wants Toby to do everything that she wants to do. They go to see Farmer Trotter's pigs but Belle spoils the fun by making mud with her water jet. Toby goes into another siding but Belle chases after him still wanting to be his friend. Next they go to Maithwaite Station and Belle rings her big loud bell but Toby reverses away. Belle realizes that if she wants to be Toby's friend she needs to listen to what makes him happy too. So they both listen to the birds twittering and twitting together quietly. Finally they are both happy and become the best of friends. Stuck on You - Thomas is given the special of being the Sodor Search and Rescue Engine for the day. Thomas is excited to see that Butch has a magnet attached to his crane arm. Victor tells them that the magnet comes on when the red light is switched on, but they don't listen. At the Sodor Search and Rescue Center, Harold asks them to take metal poles to Farmer McColl. Butch and Thomas can't figure out how to pick up the poles with the magnet so the poles crash into the sea! Now the red light switches itself on and Butch gets stuck to Thomas! He realizes he should have listened to Victor. Victor tells them again that the magnet is on when the red light is on. He asks someone to come up to the board and write the letter of the day, the letter "T." Very excited, Rosita pushes Baby Bear as she makes her way to the blackboard. Telly explains that it was not okay for her to push Baby Bear. Rosita helps Baby Bear back up and apologizes, saying that she was so excited that she must have pushed him over without thinking about it. Telly thinks this is a good time to bring in the safety chickens who sing about respecting one another and explain that you shouldn't hit, kick, or push. Baby Bear and Rosita understand the rules and get back to playing school. Rosita gets excited and pushes Baby Bear two more times. She tries to apologize again, but Baby Bear does not like being pushed and does not want to play anymore. Rosita wants to try to control herself and stop pushing, but she doesn't know how. Gordon walks by and suggests that whenever she gets excited or frustrated, she can stop and hug herself. Rosita wonders if it will work and asks Baby Bear if he will try playing with her again. He agrees, and school is back in session. Rosita starts to get excited again, but quickly says "Stop!" and hugs herself instead of pushing Baby Bear. It worked! So, with the Doorman and Hundley's help, they restore the theater to its original pristine beauty and organize a special screening of Mr. Glass's favorite movie. All goes well until the music gets jumbled, the film breaks, and a popcorn explosion accompanies a volcanic eruption on screen! The show must go on, and George saves the day by taking matters (and shadow puppets) into his own hands. Surely Mr. Glass can't say this wasn't unique!
    * Cooking with Monkey - Professor Wiseman proudly presents a cake for the fire station barbecue, but when the cake bends a knife and proves to be extra sticky, everyone is astonished. Embarrassed, Wiseman explains that she will be "extra creative" for the bake sale. Bake sale? George needs to find out what's wrong with Wiseman's cooking, fast! Even with George's help finding the right cooking tools, Wiseman's next attempt proves to be another culinary disaster. Wiseman visits the restaurant to purchase something for the bake sale, and is stunned to see Chef Pisghetti cooking from a recipe. Wasn't cooking supposed to be creative? The Chef explains that a recipe is just like a scientific formula. Eureka! The rest is a piece of cake.

    * Leaves - Nick and Sally are going to make a leaf collage of Cat, but the leaves they have aren't the right shape, they need different ones.It's off to Kaloo-Kalee for some leaf collecting! There, they learn that leaves help trees make food, and that's why it's best not to pick the leaves from the branches. They collect fallen leaves from three different trees with very different leaves. Now they have everything they need to make their picture of Cat, and even one for Fish!

    Dinosaur Train [#225H] Dinosaur Train Submarine: Maisie Mosasaurus/Date Night The Pteranodon family goes back underwater in the Dinosaur Train Submarine and meet Maisie and Marvin Mosasaurus, a daughter and father who are huge, fast-swimming lizards with flippers. Maisie and Shiny bond when they discover neither likes to go down deep in the water. The Pteranodons and Mosasaurus have a great time up near the ocean's surface, each family showing the other how they hunt and catch fish to eat. When Mrs. Pteranodon announces that she and Mr. Pteranodon are going on a special anniversary date that night, and the Pteranodon kids will have their first babysitter ever, the kids are not very happy. The babysitter is Keira Chirostenotes, a responsible, patient teenager. Buddy, Tiny, Shiny, and Don each take almost the whole evening to warm up to her. While Mom and Dad are on their date on the Dinosaur Night Train, Mom is relaxed, but Dad really misses the kids and can't stop thinking about them. When they return from eating a healthy power snack, their ball is missing! It's a real mystery and they need to investigate to solve the problem! First, Telly writes down what they already know about the mystery! Then, he forms a hypothesis, or a guess, that Abby must have made the basketball disappear because she's able to do magic. Abby tells them that she was with the seven dwarves so it couldn't have been her. Telly and Elmo investigate further and Elmo suggests that they look under the table. The basketball isn't there and now Telly's notebook and crayon have vanished making the mystery even more mysterious! Elmo discovers a new clue and after thinking about where he's heard this "whoosh" sound before, he forms a new hypothesis- the Big Bad Wolf did it! The Big Bad Wolf explains that it wasn't him either. Now they hear the "whoosh" again and Telly's hat is missing! This time they also feel a tickle but don't see anything. Leela comes by and helps them piece all the clues together. What can be all around that you can sometimes hear and feel, but can't see? Wind! Elmo and Telly experiment and test out their new hypothesis and see if the wind made their things disappear. They follow a leaf flying in the wind and find all of their missing things. Thomas collects ducks, Katy the sheep dog and Farmer McColl's prize cow to take them to the fair. Thomas' whistle is so loud that all of the animals run away! Thomas arrives at the fair to find out that the animals are gone and there is no one at the fair. Once Thomas goes back to the Steam Works to get his whistle fixed, he tells everybody about the animal show. Thomas is asked to use his whistle to declare that 'the animal show is now open! ' Up, Up and Away - Thomas and Percy are given the special of delivering a giant balloon that Mr. Bubbles has blown up for his Big Balloon Show. Thomas and Percy decide to take the coast track, but the wind whips the balloon into the sky. Thomas and Percy ask Mr. Bubbles to blow up another giant balloon and they take it through a tunnel but it gets stuck! Thomas and Percy again get another giant balloon and they take a fast track and as Gordon rushes past the big balloon bounces off the flatbed and bursts.     Bob the Builder [#808H] Following Clues (Pt. 1) Scrambler and the Clue - The pillars at Fixham Museum need to be replaced. The museum's curator, David Mockney asks Bob and the team to help with the repairs. Mr. Mockney explains that Fixham was built years ago by Brickbeard the Pirate and legend tells of him burying a Golden Hammer. Scrambler believes the Golden Hammer is hidden in a red box. Spud and Scrambler think it would be great to find the Golden Hammer and give it to Bob as a gift! Lofty drops Spud down the chimney to look for the key but Spud crashes through the roof! After apologizing to Bob, Spud shows Scrambler the key he found when he fell through the roof. The key unlocks the red box and there is a piece of paper with a picture of a bear inside. Perhaps, this clue will lead them to the Golden Hammer. Lofty and the Teddy Bear Rescue - Bob and the team are helping Toyshop owner Mrs. Toosey build a new window for her shop. Spud and Scrambler are using the picture of the bear to continue their search for the Golden Hammer. At the toyshop, Lofty sees a box of teddy bears and decides to move them out of the way. Meanwhile, foxes follow him to the hiding place in the woods. Mrs. Toosey explains to Spud and Scrambler that she has teddy bears in her shop, but Lofty has moved them to keep them safe. With help from Bob and the team, they finally locate the teddy bears in the foxes' den. Back at the Toyshop, Spud sees a teddy sitting on a red box!     Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! [#209H] Little Lemmings/Keep The Beat * Little Lemmings - It's cold outside, but Nick and Sally want to keep playing. Is there a way to stay warm out in the cold? Cat's friend Lars the Lemming will know! He lives in the Wundra-Bundra-Tundra. It's cold out, but with Lars' fur coat, he doesn't even notice! They help Lars find a new home, one where there's more food for him and his family and they discover that he uses the snow to help keep him warm! Back at home the kids wear two winter coats to help them keep warm. But what's even warmer than that, hot chocolate
    * Keep the Beat - Nick and Sally have been running around the backyard and now their chests are thumpity thumping! The Cat explains that that is their hearts boom boom booming! But why? wonders Sally. A visit to Dr. Giggles will answer that question. By shrinking down super small, they follow Dr. Giggles' directions to follow the path that blood takes, learning about how the heart is a pump. They watch Thing 2's heart beat faster when he runs, and slows down when he stops. With all this running around, their bodies are now making another sound - rumbling tummies!
