Whether they're in the ground, in rocks or in a tree, holes are perfect homes, safe and warm for foxes, snakes, rabbits, prairie dogs, porcupines, and flying squirrels. Jackie spots a man just about to cut down a dead tree. She stops him and explains that owls, squirrels and raccoons live in tree holes, even if the tree is dead.     Sesame Street [#4318H] Build A Better Basket Alan, Rosita, and Elmo are putting together a basket full of goodies for Little Red Riding Hood to take to her grandma's house. Red Riding Hood comes by ready to pick up the basket and asks if they tested it to make sure it was strong enough to stand up to the Big Bad Wolf. They agree to test the basket, and Alan holds it up saying, "I got a basket of goodies for you, Grandma." Just then, the Big Bad Wolf pops up next to Alan and eats through the basket. The basket was not strong enough. Elmo thinks that they need to put something harder than twigs around the basket to make it stronger. Rosita suggests reinforcing the basket with dishes. They test it again, but the Big Bad Wolf is able to eat through the dishes! The dishes are hard but fragile. For the next basket, Alan, Rosita, and Elmo decide to reinforce the basket with something even harder than dishes - metal pie plates. The Big Bad Wolf pops in once more to test it out but is unable to eat through the metal pie plates. It passes the test! With the clock ticking, will either of them catch up to the bus and arrive at the meeting in time?
    * Seed Trouble - George loves eating at Chef Pisghetti's restaurant! When Chef explains that he can't grow enough vegetables to keep his customers fed, George and the Man with the Yellow Hat offer to start their own garden to help the Chef out. The garden is ready to be planted, when Compass and his pigeon friends eat some of the seeds! George dumps the seeds into one jar to keep them safe... and learns too late that different seeds can't be planted together. Can George figure out how to separate and identify the seeds, and keep Chef Pisghetti in business?

But when the big day comes, she comes down with a bad cold and is unable to participate. Using Nina's plan, Shun and Emily Elizabeth set out without her and end up winning the set of mystery books. In the end, they realize that it was Nina's plan that enabled them to collect the record number of books, and they decide to share the prize with her.

Finally they are able to convince him to join them and a great time is had by all.
    * Emily Elizabeth believes she has the perfect gift for her mothers birthday. She plans to spend the entire afternoon with her mother and the reading of a poem written just for her mom. Charley agrees that the gift is perfect, but Jetta has other ideas. Emily Elizabeth agrees to at least try some of Jetta's ideas. But in the end she realizes that the gift she created from her heart really is the best gift.

Telly and Elmo come bounding in loudly trying to offer their help, but Leela insists that she doesn't need any assistance. She's hoping Nila will stay asleep as long as there aren't any loud noises on Sesame Street. Elmo and Telly decide to become the Noise Patrol and keep loud noises away from Nila! They try to use different tools such as binoculars and a megaphone, but Leela explains that the only tools they need are their ears! Elmo and Telly hear sounds coming from animals playing basketball. Luckily, the animals agree to go to the park to play. Next, Elmo and Telly hear Grover blasting a boombox as he breakdances! After a dance-off and a mishap with the controls, Grover realizes that he can't play loud music around a sleeping baby and leaves after putting on his headphones. Next, Elmo and Telly hear hammering from a construction worker who thankfully agrees to leave for lunch. Just when the Noise Patrol is finally enjoying the quiet, Nila wakes up! Leela explains that they actually don't need to be completely quiet. Nila can listen to Leela as she sings her a lullaby.     * The Whole Truth - A talented young artist is painting a portrait of Barney, but when she has to step away, BJ is mistaken for the artist of the portrait. BJ has a hard time correcting this misunderstanding. The situation snowballs as the others beg him to teach them to paint like that! In the end, BJ admits the truth and learns that honesty is the best policy!

Caillou Saves Water: When Miss Martin asks the class to think up ways to save water, Caillou takes it to heart. He tries to stop taking baths, and wants to stop brushing his teeth, but Mommy, of course, won't let him. When Caillou notices a dripping faucet he's amazed to learn how leaking tap water really adds up - giving him an even better idea of how to conserve (and reuse) water! So when he's accidentally given Henry's special coal, he doesn't stop. He hopes it'll make him go faster. Henry bravely puffs on with his ordinary coal. While Henry struggles with a clogged firebox, Gordon puffs across the island. Eventually Gordon's conscience gets the better of him and, just as he's about to finish his journey, he stops and puffs back to Henry. Gordon and Henry swap coal tenders. Gordon is very sorry to have taken Henry's coal, while Henry is sorry that Gordon couldn't set his record. Thomas is taking some holidaymakers on a sightseeing trip around the Island of Sodor. Gordon sniffs that he would be much faster, so Thomas sets out to prove that he's wrong. He races from location to location so fast that he leaves holidaymakers behind at each place! Bertie the bus sees what is happening and chases after Thomas, collecting the stranded passengers as he goes.     Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! [#215H] Top of the Sky/Jiggle Bones * Top of the Sky: Nick, Sally and Cat are playing with their toy rocket.Using the Cat's "Whoa-Look-At-It-Go-Launcher," he shoots the rocket up up and up! But now they need to go find it. Off to the top of the sky! They pass the treetops, and the mountains. Where is the top of the sky? They keep going higher until they're in space! They meet Audrey the Astronaut who explains that there is no top to the sky. The sky turns into space and space goes on forever! Just when the kids think their rocket is lost, they find it in Audrey's space station. Though they can't launch their rocket to the top of the sky, launching it to the moon is just as cool!
    * Jiggle Bones: Nick and Sally are wiggling and jiggling like the jelly mould in front of them. But they can't quite widdle the same way. How come? Bones, of course! announces the Cat. Bones keep their bodies from being wiggly and jiggle. But why do they need bones? A visit to Dr. Giggles will answer that question! They learn about the big strong bones that help us stand and walk, the small bones that help us bend and move, and all the important bones that help protect our squishy bits. Even though they won't let you wiggle and jiggle like jelly, bones are important!

There's a lot of creatures who sleep during the day and are awake at night. Amazing creatures like binturongs, raccoons, owls, ringtails, and dormice are all perfectly suited for living the night life. Inspired, Zoboo claims he's going to stay up all night, but he falls asleep in seconds. The Kratts try to sleep but Animal Junction's too noisy, so Martin and Chris take a night hike to see who else is awake. Jackie loves the weekend because sometimes her parents let her stay up late and watch for night creatures. By sitting quietly and waiting, she's able to watch the family of raccoons who lives in the forest behind her house.
