But Daisy becomes so popular with the passengers that she needs Annie and Clarabel's help to carry them all! Upset that Daisy was so rude to them earlier, Annie and Clarabel trick her into thinking she needs to be repaired. But Annie and Clarabel end up getting left behind again, and learn that two wrongs don't make a right! Learning Goals: honesty, self-control, responsibility Saving Time Samson boasts to the other trains that he has been given a very special job taking stones from the quarry to the docks. But when he learns that Thomas has been assigned the same task, Samson tries to find another way to show everyone that he's very important. He decides to take more trucks than he should, insisting that it will save time. But with so many heavy trucks, Samson can't get over Gordon's Hill! It takes him even longer to deliver the stones, and when he asks Thomas to help him, he ends up making Thomas late too. Sir Topham Hatt is unhappy with the delay, but Samson takes responsibility, assuring him that he has learned his lesson and won't make the same mistake again. When Dad's burning toast triggers the fire alarm, he decides it is the perfect opportunity to practice a fire drill. Caillou gets the family together to go over a basic evacuation plan, and happily spends the afternoon pretending to be a firefighter. Later, Caillou accompanies Mom to the grocery store and brings along some money from his piggybank. Caillou finds a way to spend his money: he gets his face painted by a lady at the store. Caillou and his Mommy are preparing a picnic lunch. Caillou would like to leave right away, but it's not lunchtime yet and Mom and Dad have other things to finish before they leave. To help Caillou wait, Dad gives him a small alarm clock and a special assignment: to let everybody know when it's noon. When Mr. Hinkle has a tree cut down, Caillou is afraid his swing tree is next! Scoop wants to dig too, but in trying to keep up with Stretch, he slides around and gets stuck. Scoop discovers that by spreading gravel he can grip the slippery ground and help finish the job. MUCK THE SAFETY OFFICER Bob and the team are repairing a sinkhole on a busy road near the Flying Saucepan Restaurant. Muck wants to get a closer look but Bob gives him the role of safety officer on the other side of a safety barrier. When Bob is away, Muck sneaks a closer look and the road gives way under him. Bob tells Muck to stay still as Lofty pulls Muck back up to safety and the team is able to repair the road. Is Sean's concern about Martian dust devils legitimate? Curriculum: The next big frontier for human space flight is Mars. We have long range plans to get humans to Mars, but still have not solved some of the challenges, like what human inhabitants will do about the lack of oxygen and water, and the extreme temperatures.
    * Sounds Abound - Sean is trying to work on a science project for Space Troops, but is interrupted by his friends' constant noise. His search for a quiet place to conduct his experiment leads him to the realization that sound is exactly what his experiments needed all along. Curriculum: Sound travels in waves like light or heat, but unlike them, sound travels through vibration. So, in order for sound to travel, there must be something for sound to travel through. Sound can travel through air, water, and solid objects, but not through space.
