    Anne of Green Gables: The Animated Series [#113] The Avonlea Herald Under the guidance of Rachel Lynde, who has always had a 'nose-for-news', the children start up The Avonlea Herald, a weekly newspaper. Anne works hard to be made editor. The other children gladly fill their respective posts. As they are working on their first issue, a big story breaks in Avonlea, sending the whole "staff" into action. Anne, in her enthusiasm, takes over all departments. On top of that, her dictatorial management style disheartens the other children. Initially frustrated with "her staff," she comes to realize that it is her own attitude that is the problem. When she allows everyone to have a sense of ownership and to feel the rewards of contributing, the news team starts to function smoothly and the resulting issue is a great success. duration 28:46   STEREO TVY

    Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps [#310H] Angelina and Super Polly/Angelina's Dance Like A Cake * Angelina and Super Polly - Polly adores a book about a mouseling girl who acquires superhero powers when she hears a trumpet fanfare. Polly starts to think maybe she has superpowers, too! She gets a fanfare recording from her father, but after several failed attempts it becomes clear that Polly has no superpowers at all. Vici, Marco, and Angelina explain that everyone is super at something - like dance, or telling stories, or being a good friend. They encourage her to try a variety of things to find her special ability - and it turns out Polly's a super singer!
    * Angelina's Dance Like a Cake Day - Vici puts together Dance Like a Cake Day in which her friends must bring a cake or sweet associated with a dance. AZ plans an upside down dance and will bring a pineapple upside down cake. Vici plans to bring lemon twist bars so she can dance the twist. Alice is set on pancakes and will perform a gymnastic dance with flips. Angelina wants to do a Hansel and Gretel dance and plans on bringing a gingerbread house. When her cake collapses due to Polly's attempt to help, Angelina doesn't know what to do. Just when time is about to run out, she's inspired by Marco, who is learning to play the castanets - Angelina make cookies using Spanish oranges and dances the flamenco!

    * The Dog Park - It's a beautiful day at the park, the birds are singing, the sun is shining, and the dogs are playing-much to Mr. Bleakman's annoyance! Mr. Bleakman manages to make the park "off limits" to dogs only to discover that he misses them when they're gone.

When she discovers this, Emily Elizabeth is upset with Nina, but Nina doesn't understand why she should apologize when Emily Elizabeth never explicitly told her that this information was a secret. With Evan's help, Nina learns that confidences between friends really shouldn't be broken and she apologizes to Emily Elizabeth.
    * With Friends Like You: Jorge, in an attempt to retrieve a ball from the other side of a fence finds himself stuck. His friends try to get him out but Clifford comes up with an idea that does the trick. Jorge is so indebted to Clifford he vows to repay him and, as a result, bombards Clifford with kind favors and words. At first, Clifford enjoys this special treatment but, pretty soon, Jorge's acts of gratitude become overwhelming. Clifford helps Jorge learn that helping your friends is an implicit part of any friendship.

    Maya & Miguel [#138] Real Twins When a TV commercial announces that a new reality show about twins is looking for entrants, Maya thinks that she and Miguel should send an audition video. Miguel points out that he and Maya are not identical twins, which is what is usually shown on TV, but Maya says the name of the show is "Real Twins"...and she and Miguel are real! Maya and Miguel film a video highlighting all of their talents, hoping this will separate them from the crowd. The director of the show appears, telling Maya and Miguel that they are finalists for the show! Maya and Miguel are thrilled... until they see the audition tape of the other finalists: Barry and Gary, two identical twins at their school who are eerily alike, even for twins. Maya is convinced that she and Miguel need to be more alike to get on the show. With their friends' help, they re-decorate their rooms to be exactly alike and begin wearing similar clothes. When the director follows them to school, where they are most different, Maya and Miguel must continue the charade, trying to finish each other's sentences and engaging in activities they don't actually enjoy. In the end, the entire act unravels, and Maya and Miguel are revealed to be very un-alike twins. The director admits that Maya and Miguel's many talents in the audition tape were what attracted the director in the first place. Unfortunately, while trying to be exactly alike, they never demonstrated any of their talents.
