    • Mon 5/06: very brief KQED DT9 OTA outage

      (DT9.1, 9.2, 9.3) This morning we had a very brief outage of our over the air (OTA) coverage for KQED 9.1/9.2/9.3, which lasted apx 4 minutes. Most tuners will have found the channel again as soon as service was restored, but some may need to be rescanned for channel 9. This outage did not affect [...]

    • Mon 4/22: KQEH OTA signal back on air

      (DT54.1 through DT54.5) The Over the Air (OTA) signal from our KQEH transmitter on Monument Peak was restored at apx 6:35pm this evening. Most tuners should automatically find the signal, however some OTA viewers may need to do a rescan to restore reception.

    • Mon 4/22: KQEH OTA planned overnight outage extended

      Unexpected technical problems have been discovered at the KQEH transmitter site during planned maintenance overnight.  KQED crews have identified the problem and are working to correct it as soon as possible. Please check back to this blog for status updates. Service to Comcast and other providers are uninterrupted.

The trouble is, Mrs. Thimble, whose store is directly across the street, doesn't appreciate the loud music that interferes with her daily nap. Angelina has to find a way to keep the party going without disturbing Mrs. Thimble. Inspired by Polly, she comes up with a solution: they play a soothing lullaby to help Mrs. Thimble fall asleep - solving two problems at once!
    * Angelina and Ms. Mimi - When Ms. Mimi introduces the class to a new drum kit, Angelina gets carried away and can't seem to stop talking. When Ms. Mimi gently admonishes her, Angelina is mortified. In her efforts to regain Ms. Mimi's favor, she upsets her friends by missing important rehearsals for their lunchtime show. Eventually, she realizes that she has been overreacting to Ms. Mimi's reproach. After lots of practice, she joins her friends in time for the performance.

    * Angelina's Lost Ice Skates - Angelina and Alice are so excited about their big ice show, they rush out of the house and almost forget to take their skates and lunch. Then while practicing jumps in the park, they leave their lunch on the bench and it's gobbled up by some hungry birds. They dash off to Mrs. Thimble's store for smoothies before racing off to the skating rink. But right before the show is about to begin, Angelina discovers that her skates are missing! Oh no - where could they be? She retraces her steps, finds the skates, and returns to the rink. Although she misses her opening solo, she gets back just in time to join Alice for the rest of the performance.
