When Henry tries to steam through Sodor using the normal coal, he breaks down. Henry realizes that he has been a silly engine. Sir Topham Hatt tells Henry that it is the special coal that makes Henry such a special engine. When 'Arry and Bert tease Henry again, he tells them that he is proud of being a special engine with special coal. Henry even helps 'Arry and Bert when they run out of diesel! Edward the Hero - Edward is given the special job of being the Rescue Engine at the Sodor Search and Rescue Center. Edward wants to be a hero if he is to help Harold at the Center. Edward thinks that heroes are strong, fast and stern so decides he must be strong, fast and stern too. He helps Charlie by being funny, helps Dowager Hatt by being kind, and helps Farmer McColl's dog by being gentle. Edward doesn't think he's a hero though because he hasn't shown he is fast, strong and stern. As Edward chuffs along the tracks he sees people cheering and waving to him and calling him a hero. Curriculum: Northern lights (aka, aurora borealis) are a natural, awesome phenomenon. The origin of the aurora begins when a cloud of gas is ejected from the Sun's surface. When it collides in Earth's atmosphere with oxygen and nitrogen, it produces dazzling auroral light. Treehouse ISS - When the kids realize that they all want to use the treehouse at the same time for different activities, arguments break out. Mindy tries to help by creating a schedule for each kid to use the treehouse alone. In the end, the kids realize they need each other's company and ideas in order to be successful in their own projects. In resolving their problem, the kids learn to think like the scientists on the International Space Station, who have to find a solution to the problem of getting along while doing different projects in a small space. Curriculum: The International Space Station (ISS) program is a great global human achievement in international cooperation.     KQED NEWSROOM [#446H] In the wake of the Trump administration's Tuesday announcement that it is ending the Obama-era DACA program, we look at several perspectives on immigration policy. Dubbed DACA for "Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals," the program allowed young, undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. illegally as children to obtain temporary work visas and avoid deportation.
    *Congressman Jeff Denham Central Valley Rep. Jeff Denham (R-Turlock) supports the DACA program, but says Congress should craft a more permanent legislative solution.
    *California Attorney General Xavier Becerra California Attorney General Xavier Becerra plans to sue the Trump administration for its decision to rescind DACA, which he says will cost California's economy a billion dollars and hurt roughly 200,000 DACA beneficiaries living in the state.
    * 'Dreamer' Robert Nu?ez Like many DACA beneficiaries known as "Dreamers," 23-year-old Robert Nu?ez has been able to live, study and work in the U.S. without fear of deportation. Nu?ez came to the U.S. as a toddler from Mexico and just recently graduated from UC Berkeley with hopes of working as an immigration attorney.
    *The name Cesar Chavez is synonymous with farm worker rights, but Dolores Huerta, the woman who co-founded the United Farm Workers union with Chavez, is much less known. The new documentary, Dolores, aims to change that by highlighting the critical role Huerta played, and continues to play, as an activist and civil rights leader.

    *Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the end of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program that provided legal protections for as many as 800,000 undocumented people who came to this country as children. Mr. Trump chose to delay the phase out of the Obama-era program for six months to give Congress a chance to enact a fix, but the president has sent mixed signals to "Dreamers" about their fate if no compromise can be reached.
